This website (JOHNMACKAY.NET, our, we) processes, in Common Log Format (CLF), HTTP requests received by our webserver including:

• client IP address;
• originating IP address;
• referring IP address;
• requested URL;
• status code.

JOHNMACKAY.NET analyzes individual log files for the purpose of aggregating the above data anonymously for analysis including:

• popular pages
• popular referrers i.e. Bing, Google, YouTube etc.
• visits by country
• error codes i.e. 404's etc.

JOHNMACKAY.NET does not set cookies, tracking bugs or tracking scripts in our pages; nor do we provide identifying data to anyone without an enforceable order. All requests for HTTP request data can be made to our upstream provider, Cloudflare who processes request data in order to provide their service to us and by extension to you. In addition to writing offered free for public consumption, we may offer eBooks for sale and when we do, we make use of PayPal to process these sales.

With respect to puchases made on JOHNMACKAY.NET, we do not use customer identifying information for any reason other than to attend to issues that relate to a specific PayPal purchase.
